John Moseley

“People often ask me how long I’ve been an artist, and my answer is that I’ve always been an artist, my earliest memories are of me painting both the world I saw around me and scenes from my imagination… and I knew from childhood that’s what I’d be doing with my life.”

Largely a self-taught artist, John’s talent and natural gift for drawing, painting and creating fine art were recognized at an early age and nurtured through a lifetime of practice and study. A student of both art technique and history his interests and influences range from ancient to modern day, and from many cultures world-wide.

John was born and raised in California and spent his early childhood in the forested mountains of northern California before moving to the coast as a teenager which began a lifelong connection with the ocean. Extensive travels around the world have helped create a connection to many different cultures and an appreciation of this amazing planet Earth.
